{"id":76815,"date":"2026-04-28T12:35:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T16:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vgvote.com\/?p=76815"},"modified":"2026-04-28T13:36:47","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T17:36:47","slug":"rockstar-wants-you-to-make-its-next-great-gta-online-mission","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vgvote.com\/?p=76815","title":{"rendered":"Rockstar Wants You To Make Its Next Great GTA Online Mission"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Rockstar has just announced a new series of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/games\/grand-theft-auto-online\/\">Grand Theft Auto Online<\/a> missions created by players using Rockstar&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/how-to-use-the-mission-creator-in-gta-online\/1100-6536899\/\">Mission Creator tool<\/a>, which was first added to the game <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/how-to-use-the-mission-creator-in-gta-online\/1100-6536899\/\">back in December<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;This week, we\u2019ve teamed up with talented and long-time Rockstar Games supporters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/gtaseriesvideos\">GTA Series Videos<\/a> to feature Old School Hits&#8211;inspired by the original Grand Theft Auto trilogy&#8211;as the first creation in our Community Mission Series on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, built using the Rockstar Mission Creator,&#8221; the studio shared in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rockstargames.com\/newswire\/article\/39a3412379o79o\/play-thrilling-new-gta-online-experiences-built-by-the-community-with?utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_medium=o_social&amp;utm_campaign=gtao_announcement_mission-creator-20260428\">official blog post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Old School Hits goes live on Thursday, April 30, and players who partake in its nostalgic throwback missions will earn four times the GTA$ and RP. Rockstar describes the Old School Hits event as being available for a &#8220;limited time,&#8221; but hasn&#8217;t shared when the event will end, nor which specific missions from GTA, GTA 2, and GTA 3 will be featured in the event.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">What we <em>do<\/em> know is that Rockstar has plans for more player-made missions&#8211;Old School Hits is just the first entry in the game&#8217;s new Community Mission Series.
