Reading between the lines here, it appears investors are excited about the idea that Rockstar is finally going to start taking people&#8217;s money.<\/p>\n<p>Investors may also see this report as more of an indication that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/grand-theft-auto-6-everything-we-know\/1100-6503729\/\">GTA 6<\/a> will not be delayed again and will actually come out on November 19, thus signaling strength and confidence in the stock.<\/p>\n<p>With Take-Two&#8217;s share value climbing today&#8211;it&#8217;s at $242 as of publish time&#8211;the company has added $2 billion+ in market cap. Even with the growth, Take-Two&#8217;s share price so far in 2026 has fallen by about 4%, however. The company&#8217;s stock value <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/why-did-gta-6-companys-market-value-plummet-by-billions-take-two-boss-reacts\/1100-6537909\/\">took a beating in February when Google announced Project Genie<\/a>, a new AI system that it said was capable of creating video game worlds.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/a\/uploads\/original\/1179\/11799911\/4695822-gta6..jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Technologies like Project Genie <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/gta-6-exec-says-ai-is-great-but-people-are-overstating-what-it-can-do\/1100-6535679\/\">cannot currently create games like GTA 6<\/a>, and Wall Street investors selling Take-Two stock in reaction to that announcement was<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/generative-ai-is-not-going-to-eat-the-games-industry-expert-says\/1100-6537873\/\"> just another example of investors losing the plot<\/a>, experts said.
