Subnautica 2 base guide – Growing plants via the Growbed<\/p>\n

To unlock the Growbed, you need to travel quite far from your Lifepod. If you’re playing on Survival Mode, then we encourage you to check our mini-walkthrough<\/strong><\/a>, since it should help you find the blackbox signals that you should track.<\/p>\n

Assuming you’ve already done some early-game tasks, you’ll learn of another location called the Tadpole Pens. Upon completing the objectives there, you’ll be told about another biome with an area called the Alien Ruins.<\/p>\n

Growbed fragments location<\/p>\n

The Subnautica 2 Growbed fragments are at the Research Station–i.e. the Alien Ruins marker. The location is approximately 1,300 meters east of the Lifepod or 720 meters east of the Tadpole Pens facility.<\/p>\n

You need to scan two Growbed fragments for the blueprint. Fortunately, the structures are right next to each other. One is on the rooftop of the hab, and the other is on the ground just behind the building.<\/p>\n
