The superhero game from Arkane Lyon was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/blade-game-announced-by-deathloop-dev-arkane-lyon\/1100-6519805\/\">originally announced in 2023<\/a>, but barely anything has been revealed since then. That led to speculation the title was canceled. However, Giant Bomb&#8217;s Jeff Grubb clarified that that&#8217;s not the case <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JeffGrubb\/status\/2063975206289621373\">on X<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grubb explained that he was speculating about the Blade game on a recent livestream, which led to online publications running stories about the Marvel title possibly getting canned. &#8220;Sounds like there are reasons we haven&#8217;t seen it, but those reasons are not because there are problems with the game. When Arkane revealed the title at The Game Awards in 2023, studio director Dinga Bakaba let people know on social media that they <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/marvels-new-blade-game-wont-be-discussed-for-a-while\/1100-6519831\/\">wouldn&#8217;t discuss Blade for a while<\/a>. That said, it&#8217;s understandable people might have expected just a few nuggets of news over a two-and-a-half-year timeframe.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/marvel-blade-concept-art-reveals-paris-under-siege-from-vampires\/1100-6519947\/\">There was concept art<\/a> shared shortly after Blade was first introduced to the world.
