During a panel at\u00a0the New York Times\u00a0Hard Fork event, Nadella spoke about how Xbox will have to find a way to become more profitable as it enters a new era.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;No one can accuse Microsoft of not having invested for the last 25 years,&#8221; Nadella\u00a0said. &#8220;And now we have to turn this into a sustainable business that delivers what is fundamentally one of the best sources of entertainment. The challenge we have is that we&#8217;ve not been monetizing that entertainment. In fact, if anything, we&#8217;ve been subsidizing that entertainment.\u00a0There&#8217;s more monetization of Xbox games happening on YouTube than at Microsoft. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;And so that doesn&#8217;t mean we go do things that are unnatural.
