And while Cyberpunk 2077 is a known quantity at this point, and CD Projekt has told fans not to expect any more DLC, fans are calling on the developer to change its mind and release more DLC \u2014 just like The Witcher 3 is getting.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, CD Projekt confirmed that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/a-great-foundation-for-our-upcoming-projects-in-this-universe-cd-projekt-hails-cyberpunk-2077-as-it-hits-an-incredible-40-million-copies-sold\">Cyberpunk 2077 had sold an incredible 40 million copies<\/a> since its December 2020 launch, up 5 million from November 2025. It&#8217;s received one expansion so far, 2023&#8217;s Phantom Liberty starring Idris Elba.<\/p>\n<p>In May, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/amid-reports-of-a-secret-dlc-for-the-witcher-3-cd-projekt-rules-out-further-content-for-cyberpunk-2077\">CD Projekt insisted it had \u201cno plans\u201d for further Cyberpunk 2077 DLCs or expansions<\/a>, disappointing fans who were still clamouring for more content despite the age of the game. It suggests fans will have to wait for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/games\/cyberpunk-2\">Cyberpunk 2<\/a> to return to CD Projekt\u2019s much-loved dystopian universe.
