Here&#8217;s a closer look at what you can expect to play in the first half of the month.<\/p>\n<p> Xbox Game Pass August wave 1 games <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Available today, you can jump into some old-school first-person spellcasting action with Heretic + Hexen. A re-release of the classic shooters, each game has been updated with several new features and enhancements. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/reviews\/beast-of-reincarnation-isnt-as-cinematic-as-it-thinks-it-is\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">While we weren&#8217;t bowled over<\/a> by it, you can still check out the day-one release of Game Freak&#8217;s Beast of Reincarnation, an action-RPG set in a harsh but beautiful post-apocalyptic world.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Starting August 6, things heat up with Monsters Are Coming, the return of Power Wash Simulator, and the early access launch of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/gears-of-war-e-day-open-beta-start-dates-and-how-to-get-in-early\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gears of War: E-Day beta<\/a>. Remember, if you want in, you&#8217;ll need to preorder the game or have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate\/PC Game Pass subscription.
