A trailer for the update shows the Gloom to be a ghostly-looking swamp, while The Citadel looks to be a medieval fortress, complete with traps like swinging flails. As if that wasn&#8217;t enough to overcome, the trailer teases a monster one can only assume will hunt players during their climb.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s been a wild trail for Peak, a collaboration between developer Aggro Crab and Landfall Games that began life as a game-jam project only to find runaway success when it was released last year. It even became popular enough to receive a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/fortnite-adding-peak-skins-that-will-probably-cost-more-than-peak-itself\/1100-6538909\/\">Fortnite collaboration<\/a> that cost more than the game itself. <\/p>\n<p>  https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DllRqzSwliY  <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Part of Peak&#8217;s success came down to its low price point.
