So far, 20 people there have agreed to the incentive in exchange for re-enlisting, an Army spokesperson told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/grand-theft-auto-army-reenlistment-bonus\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/grand-theft-auto-army-reenlistment-bonus\/\">CBS News<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The idea was to have a unique incentives program that connects to what soldiers are interested in,&#8221; spokesperson Lt. Col. Angel Tomko said. &#8220;The command team, in conjunction with the career counselor, wanted to get soldiers excited to reenlist.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure data-wp-interactive=\"core\/image\" class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-ref-id=\"1855404\" data-wp-on--click=\"actions.core.image.showLightbox\" style=\"cursor: zoom-in\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Brian_Heder_landscape_0e0db5.jpg?w=636\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1855404\" \/>GTA 6 launches in November. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A memo from the Army appeared online this week, saying those who sign a re-enlistment contract between August 1 and November 14 will get a four-day pass coinciding with the launch of GTA 6.
