While pretty much <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/it-turns-out-game-artists-dont-love-dlss-5-despite-nvidias-claims\">everyone hated it,<\/a> it seems like Nvidia has continued to work on it behind the scenes: It&#8217;s leaked in a build of the NBA 2K27 beta. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/renan_maniero\/status\/2092762553990447113\">Twitter user @renan_maniero<\/a> spotted the new DLSS file in the NBA 2K27 early access, called nvngx_dlssnr.dll. The &#8216;nr&#8217; at the end there appears to stand for neural rendering. In the initial post on X, you can see the modders manipulating some sliders to change the degree by which the neural renderer is changing the image.
