Now, the Destiny developer promises to refocus on its players, with plans to restore removed Destiny 2 content and evolve Marathon beyond its current extraction-shooter format.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/asnrQ1UoBQM\"> new video<\/a> accompanied by a blog post on the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bungie.net\/7\/en\/News\/Article\/nextchapterofbungie\"> Bungie website<\/a>, Bungie studio head Poria Torkan and Marathon head of product and general manager Josh Dean addressed the studio&#8217;s recent struggles and outlined its plans for the future. Torkan acknowledges that Bungie&#8217;s ambitions had stalled as the studio pursued too many different initiatives without enough focus on the things players actually want.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We lost trust. We lost incredible colleagues. And our ambitions as a studio stalled,&#8221; Torkan said. &#8220;We chased vision without enough focus on what players loved, and that&#8217;s on us.
