GTA fans are discussing how the story in Grand Theft Auto 6 will be structured, following the apparent confirmation that it will be separated into chapters, similar to Red Dead Redemption 2.
An official reference to content becoming unlocked through various chapters of the game can be seen on Rockstar’s website, where the developer discusses its various bonuses available in GTA 6’s $100 Ultimate Edition. These bonuses will not all be available straight away, Rockstar has cautioned, noting instead that the extras “are threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story, with new items uncovered behind each chapter.”
Various cars, safe houses, sidequests and guns can be accessed as fans play through GTA 6 — and it sounds as if the game will feature a chapter-based structure. Exactly how this will work — whether the game’s world will open up slowly over time, and feature Red Dead Redemption 2-style time jumps — remains to be seen, though fans have already begun speculating.
