The Elite Series 2 Core is the official premium controller for Xbox with integrated pro gaming features like adjustable-tension thumbsticks, wrap-around rubberized grip, shorter hair trigger locks, and overall more substantial build quality. The difference between this controller and the less expensive “Core” series is that the Series 2 comes standard with the $60 component pack which includes extra sets of paddles, thumbsticks, D-pad, and a travel case. The Elite Core doesn’t come with any of those accessories.
