Ahead of its launch in September, Nintendo broadcast a new deep dive on Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave today. So far, it looks like tried-and-trusted Fire Emblem with its mix of turn-based strategy and character buildcrafting, but the biggest surprise was the reveal of the ultimate weapon class in the game–that’s right, the new Fire Emblem is packing heat.

While they aren’t explicitly referred to as guns, the livestream did describe gauntlets as weapons that “look like firearms” when you equip them. They certainly do have more firepower as well, as the brief snippet of footage showing one of these in action revealed a weapon capable of firing off lightning-empowered rounds. Are there concealed carry laws in the Dagdan Empire regarding gauntlets? These are the questions we’re dying to know the answer to.
