British actor Luke Dale, known for his roles in the Kingdom Come RPG series and EA’s Battlefield V, has announced that he bought a tavern in the Czech Republic and plans to turn it into a medieval-inspired social gathering place with great food and drinks.
“Is this the dumbest thing I’ve ever done? There’s a lot of competition for that title, but maybe,” he said in a newly released video (via GamesRadar).
The tavern, which is called the Nobleman, is located in Vinohrady. It’s aiming to be a Bohemian-inspired tavern that isn’t a themed pub or a tourist destination, but instead a cozy gathering place with good beer and food. He said he aims to offer British and Czech food, along with his favorite kinds of beer (which he did not name). The plan is also to lean into the medieval vibe, with things like shields and other trinkets adorning the walls.
He also admitted that he is very new to this, and there is “so much work to done,” so his plans today could change in the future. In any event, Dale said his job as an actor and streamer doesn’t always feel “real” to him, so
