Diablo 4 is reportedly headed to Nintendo Switch 2 this September, in what may be the first of multiple Diablo-related announcements coming as part of this year’s BlizzCon.
As detailed by Dealabs reporter billbil-kun, game classification organizations in Indonesia and Taiwan both point towards a Switch 2 version of Diablo 4 existing, with Dealabs independently reporting a September 15 or 18 release date. The site also reports it will allegedly retail for $70 and receive a physical release, though it will only be a code in a box and not a physical cartridge.
What’s currently unclear is whether or not Diablo 4 on Switch 2 will include both of the game’s two expansions, including the most recent, Lord of Hatred. The base version of Diablo 4 currently retails for $50 on other platforms, with a $70 “Age of Hatred” collection including both expansions also available. That could be an indication the Switch 2 version of developer Blizzard’s ARPG will include the complete Diablo 4 package, but that remains unconfirmed for now.
When this new way to play Diablo 4 will be officially revealed remains to be seen. It’s certainly possible it could be announced at Gamescom August 26-30, where Blizzard
