It’s the start of a new month, and right on cue, Microsoft has revealed the first wave of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in September. The upcoming batch isn’t too massive, but it does include a day-one release that competitive gamers will want to check out, along with more titles for Xbox Game Pass Premium. Inversely, Game Pass will be losing some pretty big titles this month, with Cyberpunk 2077 leading the wave of departures.
Kicking things off today is Shelldiver, an incremental game about a turtle fishing for jellyfish and then selling its catch at its adorable little store. On September 3, Speedrunners 2 launches as a day-one game. This competitive co-op platformer now supports up to eight players online, and you’ll need to outrun and outjump your rivals to win each match. I hope you have good memorization skills for the challenging levels!
