It’s time for another Minecraft LIVE, and this one is expected to show off some big reveals as Mojang’s all-conquering sandbox game heads towards the end of 2026 and beyond.
Minecraft Live is set for today, Saturday, September 26, at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm UK, and promises a number of announcements to get players of the best-selling video game of all time excited. Mojang itself has promised “game drops, behind-the-scenes secrets, awesome guests, and more exciting stuff to come.”
While we don’t know what to expect exactly, we do know that Minecraft Dungeons 2 will make an appearance during the event. That’s not a huge surprise, given the dungeon crawler sequel is out on September 29.
As for player expectation, the official trailer for Minecraft Live has got fans wondering if an End update is coming, given the brief appearance of an Eye of Ender (a craftable item used to locate strongholds and activate the end portals within them). The End dimension has not received a real gameplay overhaul since version 1.9 was released in 2016, so any news of an update here really would be a megaton for Minecraft.
