Cyberpunk 2077 Is Getting A Movie Adaptation At Call Of Duty Film Studio, Transformers Producer On Board

Movie studio Paramount has announced that it’s making a Cyberpunk 2077 movie, becoming just the latest upcoming game adaptation. The studio is also behind the Call of Duty movie that’s set for release in 2028.

Deadline reported that Lorenzo di Bonaventura, known for his work on the super-popular Transformers movie series, is attached to produce. CD Projekt Red is on board as well to produce, which might make fans happy to hear.

Cyberpunk 2077 is headed to the big screen.

Not all Hollywood adaptations include their creators, as Larian has no involvement in the Baldur’s Gate 3 TV show, while Naughty Dog dropped out of The Last of Us Season 3 on HBO, prompting fears about creative decisions.

Paramount has been in the news a lot lately following the company’s acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery and combination of the two companies. Going forward, the parent company will be called Skydance.

Presumably the Call of Duty and Cyberpunk 2077 movies are among those set for release in theaters, following Paramount’s commitment to releasing at least 30 movies in theaters each year.
