The 8BitDo 64 Bluetooth Controller is on sale for the first time at Amazon. Released at the end of July, the reimagined N64 wireless controller is discounted to $30.57 (was $40). Only the white edition is available for this price; the black edition has been harder to find in stock, but Amazon restocked it today for full price.
Though designed in partnership with retro hardware manufacturer Analogue, the 8BitDo 64 Bluetooth Controller also works wirelessly on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PC, and Android. To sync the controller to Switch 2, you’ll likely need to download a firmware update. If you’re a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscriber, the new controller offers a cool way to play classic N64 games.
The 8BitDo 64 Bluetooth Controller was revealed alongside the Analogue 3D last October. Analogue’s 4K Nintendo 64 has been delayed three times and is expected to launch Q4 2025.
Amazon also has deals on the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth Controller and the recently released 8BitDo Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad. Both controllers work on Nintendo Switch 1/2, PC, Apple devices, Android, and SteamOS. If you don’t need Nintendo console support, you can get an 8BitDo Ultimate 2 for $53.
