Stanley Kubrick and Stephen King fans can treat themselves on Halloween by picking up one of the recently released 4K Steelbook Editions of The Shining. The Film Vault’s new Special Edition Steelbook and Solus Steelbook Edition are in stock at Amazon for $82.85 and $49.26, respectively. The regular Steelbook Edition comes with an acetate slipcover, while the Special Edition includes a bunch of extras: a themed cigar box with an acetate slipcover, two posters, five character cards, three behind-the-scenes cards, and a holographic sticker numbered to 6,000.
The Shining’s Film Vault collectible editions were manufactured in the UK and come with region-free 4K Blu-ray and 1080p Blu-ray discs. Even though you’re ordering from Amazon’s US storefront, both editions are sold by Amazon Global Store UK with free shipping to the US. It takes roughly two weeks for orders to be delivered to the US, but you’re getting free international shipping, so it’s hard to complain.
