Developer Pearl Abyss continues to work diligently on its open-world action-adventure game Crimson Desert, with the South Korean studio releasing a new update for consoles and PC that addresses many of the game’s issues. This includes reducing the stamina cost of certain movement abilities and decreasing loading times for fast travel, making it far less time-consuming than before.
The studio took to X on March 29 to announce that patch version 1.01.00 would start rolling out on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S over the weekend. There are five new mounts–including boss mounts like the Icicle Edge Alpine Ibex and Rock Tusk Warthog, and legendary animals such as the Silver Fang and White Bear–to tame and ride, as well as improvements to the UX so you can do things like decide when to use keys on locked doors or cook meals at once instead of selecting ingredients individually. These are good QOL changes.
