Microsoft’s upcoming Halo game, Halo: Campaign Evolved, has no in-game shop. Halo Studios community director Brian Jarrard confirmed this on social media.
“There is no shop,” he wrote.
Jarrard said this in response to a fan who was wondering if the fact that Halo: Campaign Evolved will have a special skin for people who buy soda meant there would be an in-game shop. There is no in-game shop, so it seems people will need to drink soda to get the “Fantastic Spartan Armor,” which makes Master Chief look like a can of Fanta. That is currently the only known way.
Halo: Campaign Evolved is yet another re-release of the original Halo game. It’s launching this year for Halo’s 25th anniversary, and in addition to coming to PC and Xbox, it’ll be available on PS5. That’s notable because the Halo series has never appeared on a PlayStation platform before.
The remake includes new guns and multiple brand-new prequel missions. The game also supports sprint, which the original version did not have, along with “reborn” visuals. The game has no multiplayer support, and it might be followed by remakes of Halo 2 and Halo 3.
