Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred — Diablo 4’s second major expansion — is almost here, and it really feels that Blizzard has received the memo on creating an endgame structure that, at the very least, has a much better chance of keeping our attention.
Lord of Hatred was announced back at the 2025’s The Game Awards. It adds the new region of Skovos and ushers in two new classes: the Paladin, which unlocked when the expansion was announced, and the Warlock, which will go live tomorrow (April 28) as we fight to put down Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred himself.
Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred returned an 8/10 in IGN’s review. We wrote: “Lord of Hatred gives Diablo 4 an extremely satisfying conclusion, excellent changes to build crafting, and an endgame that could potentially go the distance.”
Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred is coming to PC, as well as PlayStation and Xbox consoles, on April 27. You can pre-load the expansion right now by grabbing the 3.0.0. Patch (it’s a hefty 90GB, though, so make sure you’ve freed up your harddrive!).
