The Duskbloods’ First Network Test Shut Down, Upcoming Schedule Now In Flux

Those eager to be the first to play The Duskbloods in its first closed network test were met with widespread login errors, and it appears that server issues were bad enough that From Software pulled the plug on this first session.

“We regret to inform you that today’s session is now closed,” From Software wrote in an X post. The session was scheduled for 3 AM to 7 AM PT / 6 AM to 10 AM ET, which is at the end of the day in Japan. “We will continue to work on improving the servers and will announce future schedules at a later date.”

The post’s vague wording leaves it unclear if From Software will try to keep to its original schedule. The announced times included a second test session for Friday, followed by more sessions over the weekend, but it’s unknown if that will still occur.

On the bright side, this is why we have network tests in the first place. Functioning servers for an online game like The Duskbloods are obviously essential, and From Software can work on the appropriate fixes after this first online test turned out to be a dud.

Sure,
