If you’re a fan of The Witcher franchise, you’re getting a lot of new stuff over the next few years, starting this week with the launch of The Witcher 3 Remastered.
Here’s what’s on tap for The Witcher over the next few years:
2026
The Witcher 3 Remastered, which includes a bevy of technical and graphical updates and improvements, releases on September 29. The long-awaited remaster, which is free for people who already own the game, includes a reimagined skill system, an expanded photo mode, improved combat, and a new transmog feature. After that will come a new expansion for The Witcher 3, Songs of the Past, in 2027. The expansion was originally targeting a 2026 release, but it was pushed to 2027 to make it as good and polished as possible.
Songs of the Past takes Geralt on one last ride “before passing the torch.” Players will venture to the location of Letten, home of Geralt’s friendly bard companion, Dandelion. There is a new main quest called
