Throughout the late ’80s and ’90s, Disney video games were a mainstay of NES, SNES, and Genesis libraries. Several of these classics are being bundled into an updated version of the Disney Afternoon Collection for Switch and Switch 2, and you can preorder the physical editions through Amazon and Target. Both editions will launch on May 29, with the Switch edition priced at $30 and the Switch 2 version with all games on the cartridge retailing for $40.

DuckTales and its sequel still hold up as terrific platformer games, while the Chip ‘n Dale games are fondly remembered for their co-op action. Goof Troop and Bonkers are the new additions, and both are a fascinating trip down memory lane.
Goof Troop was one of the early games that legendary video game designer Shinji Mikami worked on, while Bonkers was a fun platformer based on the ’90s animated series about the washed-up cartoon star who landed a job as the cop of Toontown.
