During the latest Nintendo Direct, Bethesda took to the stage to reveal a slew of games heading to Switch 2–including Fallout 4. The Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition is getting a digital release on February 24, followed by a physical release on April 28. There don’t seem to be any preorder bonuses yet, but the Anniversary Edition is packed with additional content (like DLC and Creation Club items), giving Switch 2 fans a chance to experience the best of the Wasteland.
Considering season two of the Fallout TV show just wrapped up, this is a wonderful time to dive back in for another post-apocalyptic adventure. Our Fallout 4 review gave the original game from 2015 a fantastic 9/10, noting its dense world filled with unique characters and locations, its fun combat system, and its massive selection of quests and side quests.
